Mountain skills and Navigation
This is a 2 day course based in the Lake District. Are you a keen walker and want to try walking in the mountains and want more adventure and more exciting routes like Striding Edge or Snowdon Horseshoe. This course will give you the confidence to do that.

Day 1 we meet in the village it will be a full days walk  usually 6 to 10 miles then in the evening route planning for the next day

Day 2 We meet in the village and a full days walk in the lake district each person will navigate a section of the route

Mountain weather forecast
Movement across mountains
Dealing with steep ground/scrambles
Navigation skills
Compass skills
Essential gear
Looking after yourself
Emergency situations
