We back pack From Grasmere to Glenridding/Patterdale area One day will be a high level route either going over Fairfield or  Helvellyn then the other day will be a low level route going through the Grisdale Valley, the low level route is 8 miles the high level route is 9 miles  The cost is £110 this is for guiding only you need to arrange your own accommodation for the over night in Glenridding/Patterdale Area

There is car parking at Grasmere where you can leave cars, In Patterdale/ Glenridding there  pubs, Bed and Breakfast and a campsite, Hotels and YHA
