Lady Anne`s Way Walking Holiday

This guided walking Holiday Lady Anne`s Way runs from Skipton to Penrith and is 100 miles long ,the trail is punctuated by houses and towers once owned by the Clifford family, Lady Anne renovated and repaired the buildings in the 17th Century, the route follows a path that links all the castle’s and buildings that she would have visited

This is a guided walking holiday with a Mountain Leader

The Lady Anne`s Way goes through the Yorkshire Dales through Wharfedale and Wensleydale and then following an ancient green lane through Mallerstang and The Eden Valley going through delightful quaint  villages and nice charming valleys with views of the rugged fells  all the way to Penrith

All you need to carry is a day sack as there’s a daily luggage transfer for one item of luggage (maximum weight 20kg) and we’ll be staying in guest houses and inns. (See our recommended kit list page for more information)

The itinerary below shows our preferred stopping points but this could change depending on the availability of accommodation.

Day 1 – Arrive Skipton
Day 2 – Skipton- Grassington    15.5 miles
Day 3 – Grassington- Buckden   12.5 miles
Day 4 – Buckden- Hawes             18 miles
Day 5 – Hawes- Kirkby Stephen 17.5 miles
Day 6 –Kirkby Stephen-Appleby 16.5 miles
Day 7 –Appleby-Penrith                 20 miles
Day 8 – Depart after breakfast
