This Cumbria Way guided walking holiday runs for 73 miles from Ulverston to Carlisle. It passes through the heart of the Lake District following rolling farm land to Coniston then on to Langdale, climbing Stakes Pass into Borrowdale and onto the wonderful town of Keswick. From here we climb to the foot of Skiddaw, then on to Caldbeck going through farm land to the border city of Carlisle.

The itinerary below shows our preferred overnight stops however this may change depending on accommodation. Places are limited to 12 people plus a guide. All you need to carry is a day sack as there’s a daily luggage transfer. Maximum weight is 20kg, only one item of luggage per person. Accommodation will be in guest houses, inns or hotels.

Day 1 – Arrive Ulverston
Day 2 – Ulverston- Coniston 15.5 mies
Day 3 – Coniston- Langdale 12.5 miles
Day 4 – Langdale – Keswick 16 miles
Day 5 – Keswick- Caldbeck 14.5 miles
Day 6 – Caldbeck- Carlisle 14.5 miles
Day 7 – Depart after Breakfast
