What to Expect

We’ll meet at the pub the night before the walk for a briefing, so that you know what to expect from the days ahead. The following morning we’ll begin our walk to the wild campsite.

The Journey to Our Wild Campsite

The next morning, we set off on our walk, hiking through some of the most beautiful parts of the Lake District National Park. We’ll walk for a full day, enjoying stunning scenery, peaceful trails, and the thrill of the wilderness before reaching our campsite.

Longer Wild Camping Adventures

For those looking for a deeper adventure, we also offer three-day wild camping trips. These trips cover more ground, allowing you to experience multiple nights under the stars and explore even more remote locations.

Once we’ve set up camp, we’ll focus on simple comforts. Preparing a hot meal, sharing some stories and enjoying the peace of the mountains. As darkness falls, you’ll experience the magic of true wilderness: starlit skies, the sound of the wind across the fells and a rare sense of calm.

The next morning, we’ll pack up, leaving no trace of our stay. We’ll then begin the return walk. You’ll head home with new skills, unforgettable memories and the confidence to enjoy wild camping safely and responsibly on your own.
