Guided Wild Camping Weekend

Wild camping means pitching your tent or laying out your sleeping bag away from formal campsites — truly immersing yourself in nature. It’s about discovering that perfect wild camping spot, far from the crowds, where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the outdoors.

Camping in the Wilderness

Our guided wild camping holidays in the Lake District let you spend a night under the stars in one of the UK’s most stunning landscapes. With rugged mountains, calm lakes and wide views. It’s the perfect setting for adventure. Whether you’re new to camping or already have some experience, our expert mountain leaders will be there to guide you. They’ll help you choose a safe spot, set up camp and make the most of your time outdoors.

We handle the planning and navigation so you can focus on the best parts of wild camping. You’ll carry only what you need, find that perfect camping spot and enjoy the peace of the mountains. As you settle into your sleeping bag and breathe in the fresh air, you’ll feel a freedom and simplicity that wild campers love.

If you’ve ever wanted to try wild camping but didn’t know where to begin, our Lake District trips are ideal. They combine adventure, learning, and breathtaking scenery into an experience you’ll never forget.

What to Expect

We’ll meet at the pub the night before the walk for a briefing, so that you know what to expect from the days ahead. The following morning we’ll begin our walk to the wild campsite.

The Journey to Our Wild Campsite

The next morning, we set off on our walk, hiking through some of the most beautiful parts of the Lake District National Park. We’ll walk for a full day, enjoying stunning scenery, peaceful trails, and the thrill of the wilderness before reaching our campsite.

Longer Wild Camping Adventures

For those looking for a deeper adventure, we also offer three-day wild camping trips. These trips cover more ground, allowing you to experience multiple nights under the stars and explore even more remote locations.
