Description
The Wharfedale 3 Peaks is a new challenge walk that climbs the 3 highest peaks in Wharfedale, which are Great Whernside at 704m, Buckden Pike at 702m and Firth Fell at 610m. The total distance is 18 miles with 1200 meters of ascent and we aim to do this in 10 hours.
You will burn up to 5000 calories and lose 3 – 4 litres of fluid.
Experience the camaraderie of fellow like-mined people as you share the sense of achievement. You can also use this event to raise money for charity. The walk is fully guided by a mountain leader so you won’t get lost.
Wharfedale 3 Peaks Itinerary
We meet in Kettlewell, climb Great Whernside, then Buckden Pike before dropping down to Buckden and climb Firth Fell then back to Kettlewell.
Cost is £60 per person.
