Product Description
Trip Overview
Some of which are the highest mountains in England, this is a tough walk, covering 13 miles and 6,200 feet of ascent, the aim is to complete the challenge in under 12 hours.
The walk starts from Seathwaite, taking a route up Sourmilk Gill, on to our first summit of Base Brown, from there we go on to Green Gable, climb up onto Great Gable, then we then drop down to Sty Head, then follow the Corridor Route to Lingmell col, then we branch right climb Lingmell, then come back down and ascend straight up to Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England.
Then we head towards Esk Hause taking in Broad Crag, Ill Crag and Great End, once we reach Esk Hause we go onto Allen Crags and Glaramara then we make our way back down to the finish.
Location
The challenge is to climb the highest mountains around the Borrowdale valley.
