Product Description
This guided walk takes you on a classic Lake District route across Crinkle Crags and Bowfell, starting from the Great Langdale Valley floor. The full route covers around 10 miles and includes several well known summits and mountain scenery.
From the car park in Langdale, we begin our climb along the path towards Red Tarn. The route then continues up to the summit of Cold Pike. Where you can enjoy wide views across the surrounding fells. From here we head towards the famous Bad Step. A short but exciting rocky section on the way to Crinkle Crags.
After reaching Crinkle Crags, we descend to Three Tarns before making the steady climb to the summit of Bowfell. One of the most impressive peaks in the area. The descent takes us past Angle Tarn and down Rossett Gill, before returning to the valley to finish the walk.
We will meet on the morning of the walk, with the exact meeting time confirmed when you book. As with all mountain activities, the planned route may change if weather conditions require it. If needed, we will choose a suitable alternative that keeps the group safe while still providing a great day in the mountains.
